Ever since I was in elementary school, I was always drawing something, so much so that people would tell me to stop drawing all the time.
I painted oil paintings until high school, but after a few years of absence, I started watercolor paintings. I am currently studying in the class of Professor Masahiko Yamate. At various times, I encountered things that I wanted to paint, and I thought that watercolors were an easy way to express them. One of the reasons was the presence of squirrels and birds living nearby in the countryside of North America. I could not forget the scenery, and in 1982 I discovered the forest at the northern foot of Mt. Asama. My whole family unanimously started to visit, and we continue to do so to this day. There are squirrels and other animals living there. In order to cherish this environment, I have continued to draw pictures and let many people know about it. I will probably continue to do so in the future... I intend to summarize my work little by little, and I created and published a picture book.
